It might sound funny to you but they are definitely some few positives to pick out from this epic story you are about to read.
And the story goes thus: A marketer
named John was once asked by his firm to travel to a particular country in
order to publicise and advertise their designer’s shoes there. But
unfortunately for John on his arrival, he saw lots of children, fathers and
mothers walking about with their bare feet. And so this precarious sight
discouraged John and he called his firm and asked to be extracted from that
country that the citizens there did not appreciate shoes.
A week later a different firm also
sent a marketer named Charles to market their shoes in the same country. Upon
Charles arrival he also found out that nobody there used a shoe and so he
called his firm and told them to send in more thousands of shoes that the
people there have not been introduced to foot wears.
He started convincing them of the
benefits of using shoes and he sold tremendously that at a point his firm could
not keep up with the amount of shoes needed, so the firm resolved to producing
the epic traditional rubber sandal popularly referred to as “BATA” in order to
meet up with the rising demand of foot wears.
In conclusion, the difference
between the two marketers John and Charles is that what John saw as a barrier,
Charles saw as a stepping stone to a much higher ground and this made him
generate immense wealth for his firm and himself respectively.
